Zinwave announces new partnership in Thailand to support growing customer base in South East Asia

CAMBRIDGE, U.K. - June 11, 2013 - PRLog -- Zinwave Ltd, a global provider of unique, future-proofed active distributed antenna systems (DAS) for in-building wireless coverage, is pleased to announce it has partnered with Yip In Tsoi & Jacks Ltd, an established trading company in Thailand, to support its expanding customer base in South East Asia.

This partnership demonstrates Zinwaves’ recognition of the country’s economic importance in South East Asia and further strengthens its position as a major supplier of in-building wireless systems in the region. Zinwave is already seeing huge demand for its unique technology as 4G services are being rolled out on a grand scale by all the operators.

Yip In Tsoi & Jacks has chosen to partner with Zinwave for a number of reasons including the flexibility, ease of deployment and future-proofing advantages of its ultra-wideband system architecture. Zinwave’s active DAS (known as Zinwave 3000) significantly reduces the cost of ownership per installation compared to traditional solutions in a rapidly evolving wireless environment. Furthermore, its low component count, comprising just four modules, makes it economical and straightforward to deploy, run and maintain.

Zinwave 3000 is the only wideband active DAS on the market globally that is frequency-agnostic. It supports multiple services and frequencies between 150MHz and 2700MHz on a single hardware layer and removes the need for complex multi-layer infrastructures associated with traditional installations.

In addition, Zinwave 3000 eliminates the need for expensive and disruptive upgrades to existing infrastructures to accommodate new services, such as 4G over LTE as they become available. It also supports TETRA and Wi-Fi/Wimax services on the same hardware layer.
