July Fourth in the Long Beach Island Region, kicks off a summer of freedom

Fireworks will fly, and that is only the beginning a full week of holiday events and a summer packed with free events and activities for the whole family to enjoy.

SHIP BOTTOM, N.J. - June 11, 2013 - PRLog -- Something is to be said for a free spirit, and that is what the Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce is happy to present as they unveil their list of Independence Day celebrations that begin July 2 and run through the weekend of July 6 as well as the summer line up of free concerts and tours.

In typical Long Beach Island region fashion, live theatre will be available from Star Spangled Magic Shows at Fantasy Island as part of their free entertainment series, or take front row at George M or Anything Goes musicals at Surflight and Ocean Professional Theatre.  Take historic walking tours, enjoy an evening bay cruise or take part of an Independence Day Celebration.
