TransRockies Run Nominate a Trail Strider Award

CALGARY, Alberta - June 11, 2013 - PRLog -- Do you know someone who longs to be a Trail Strider but who has not had the opportunity to particpate in the TransRockies Run?


What's a Trail Strider, you ask?  Well, in order to officially earn your Trail Strider 'cred' you must survive six days on the trail at the Transrockies Run.  No easy task.  However, it's more than that.  Being a Trail Strider is about respecting the outdoors and the people you run with, spreading your love for trail running by sharing your time and experience and embracing one amazing community of dirt loving maniacs.

Does this sound like someone you know?  If so, nominate him/her for a chance to become a Trail Strider at the 2013 TransRockies Run.

Nomination Process: In 250 words or less tell us why your nominee is deserving of the 2013 Trail Strider Award.

Award: The winner will receive one entry to the 2013 TransRockies RUN6, 6 day solo including transfers to and from Denver International Airport, meals and support during the event and post event banquet.  Approximate Value: $1700.

Selection Process: Entries must be received by 9PM on June 30th, 2013.  Five entries will be chosen by the TransRockies Run staff.  From the final entries the winner will be selected by a panel composed of 5 past TransRockies Run finishers.  The winner will be announced on or before 9PM MST on July 5th, 2013.
