Award Winning Filmmaker Conducts Producers Workshop

NEW YORK - June 10, 2013 - PRLog -- On June 22, 2013, the Black and Latino Filmmaker's Coalition will host a producers workshop "The Web Series: From Concept to Distribution," with credited and award winning filmmaker Tony Clomax. Clomax will discuss how to produce a web series and distributing your content online to cable network television.

The 4 hour workshop will cover the following: Conception of an Idea; Assembling the Team/Planning; The Business; Social Media/Promotions; Post-Production and Distribution.

Tony Clomax is the writer, director and producer of two major award winning web series "12-Steps To Recovery" and "Disciplinary Actions." He has collaborated on awarding-winning short films and documentaries such as "Heads or Tails," "October 16," "Open Wound," "Athena" and "Can She Be Saved?."  His versatility in storytelling and original snappy dialog in his several award-winning web series have been noted by comedy legend Paul Mooney. He holds an M.F.A. in Film and is a member of the Writers Guild Association. He is currently directing and co-producing the first season of a comedy web television show, "Becoming Ricardo" (www.becomingricardo.com).

Workshop location is provided upon registration. Space is limited.
Workshop hours are from 10am-2pm.  Workshop pre-registration is $40. On site registration will be $65.
