Remi’s ‘May Madness’ Benefits Levine Children’s Hospital

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - June 7, 2013 - PRLog -- Remi, equipment maintenance and asset management program provider, held a month-long fundraiser to benefit their special needs fund at Levine Children’s Hospital. Levine is part of Carolinas Healthcare System and is the largest and most comprehensive children’s hospital between Atlanta and DC. Levine has also been ranked among the top 50 “Best Children’s Hospitals” in the nation by U.S. News & World Report in six pediatric categories, including nephrology.

The Remi Children’s Fund, established in 2012, helps support Levine’s Nephrology Unit, children suffering from severe kidney disorders. The fund was created to relieve some of the financial burden families are currently experiencing while their child undergoes kidney dialysis.

Last year’s fundraising event was Benevolent Beards and this spring was May Madness, which included a 2nd Annual Chili-Cook Off, a Holy Moly Triple Cornholy Contest, a 1st Ever Cookie War, and an iPad Mini Giveaway.
