Technology Conservation Group, Inc. Joins Coalition for American Electronics Recycling

LECANTO, Fla. - June 6, 2013 - PRLog -- Lecanto, FL – Technology Conservation Group, Inc. has joined the Coalition for American Electronic Recycling, which is leading a campaign in support of the Responsible Electronics Recycling Act (RERA) that will create jobs, promote investment and enhance sustainability.

RERA, which will be reintroduced in the current session of Congress, will prohibit unregulated export of non-working electronics and e-waste that contain hazardous materials. Trade in tested, working electronics and recycled commodities would not be restricted and is expected to grow with passage of RERA. According to a recent CAER study, RERA’s passage may generate up to 42,000 new jobs with an annual payroll of $1 billion.
