Daytona Beach FL- The 2013 Florida Planning & Zoning Association Conference will be hosting their 61st annual state conference in beautiful Daytona Beach Florida.

The development of mixed-use properties continues to grow as more people seek a “live, work, play” lifestyle that offers flexibility. Justin Greider, Vice President and Director of Leasing for Crossman & Company will be speaking on this topic during the conference discussing trends, best practices and other hot issues.  Justin will be speaking along Bob Breslau of Stiles Realty and Lynn Dehlinger from the City of Holly Hill.  Their discussion will focus on mixed use and town center developments.  The panelists are hosting a forum discussion to cover topics including smart planning, new urbanism, changing demographics and the impact these have had on the successes and failures of mixed use projects over the past decade.  “Retailers today are driven by demographics.  They will look at innovative and mixed-use developments when the people and the income are concentrated in that area,” states Greider.

This year’s conference, with the theme” Start your Economic Engines” seeks to engage attendees in conversation while appreciating the surroundings and atmosphere of vibrant Daytona Beach.
