Jacksonville Speech & Hearing Center to Host Annual FinFest on the River Fundraiser in September

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - June 4, 2013 - PRLog -- The Jacksonville Speech & Hearing Center will host its annual FinFest on the River fundraiser on Saturday, September 28, 2013, at Timuquana Country Club. The Center is honored to have Acosta Sales & Marketing as Presenting Sponsor, and Robert and Margaret Hill serving as Honorary Co-Chairs.  Hill is President & CEO of Acosta.

This special gala has grown to be one of Jacksonville’s most fun-filled fall events benefiting a great cause.  Music will be provided by KTG Entertainment, well-known for its high-energy performances and amazing horn section.   Guests will also enjoy tropical style cuisine and a riveting silent and live auction.

Funds raised from FinFest on the River will be used to benefit underserved children and families in need of speech and hearing services in Jacksonville.  

For the past 64 years, the Jacksonville Speech & Hearing Center has provided professional and compassionate audiology and speech/language services to thousands of children and adults in our community. Today, the Center continues to provide these services to approximately 4,000 children, adults and seniors annually.  

The Center is supported by United Way of Northeast Florida, the City of Jacksonville, Jessie Ball duPont Fund, and public and private donations.
