Fantastic VG&M YouTube Channel Now Readily Accessible Through Museum Website

June 4, 2013 - PRLog -- The Victoria Gallery and Museum is delighted to be able to offer all of its social media feeds directly from its homepage. The already enticing and engaging platform has always been one that is popular with its users, due to the abundance of information available and its ease of use, but now visitors have even more information at their fingertips.

One social platform in particular that the team is very excited about is their YouTube channel  which has been bringing all of the museum’s most popular highlights to users for more than six months. There are features from VG&M Director Matthew Clough available as well as ‘Museum Talk’ videos and conversations with Paul Rooney and exhibition curator Moira Lindsay. The videos give people a great opportunity to see snippets of what is available at the Victoria Gallery and Museum before they make their trip.

The YouTube channel complements the museum’s other social offerings superbly, such as their Twitter which grows in popularity every day and of course Facebook which is constantly updated with images and updates of what is going on at one of Liverpool’s favourite museums.

Most recently, the Victoria Gallery and Museum has launched a tumblr blog, www.mhclough.tumblr.com. This offers a photo-rich alternative view of life in the venue behind the scenes. Followers will also get previews of forthcoming programmes.

Visitors are also encouraged to visit the extremely popular Kurt Tong exhibition at the Victoria and Gallery Museum as soon as possible. ‘The Queen, The Chairman and I’, forms part of the LOOK/13 International Photography Festival being held in the city. The exhibition explores Tong’s own heritage in the UK and Hong Kong.
