Emerging Real Estate is coming home!

Emerging Real Estate, a leading international property investment firm based in Leeds, is offering investment opportunities a little closer to home as the Yorkshire city continues to buck recent economic trends.

LEEDS, U.K. - June 4, 2013 - PRLog -- The company, and its clients, have recently had success with a number of property developments in Brazil, USA, Montenegro, the Czech Republic and other UK projects in Sheffield, Manchester and Edinburgh. Now the firm is offering property investment opportunities in the thriving buy-to-let property market on its own doorstep at the Manor Mills development in the prestigious new southern core of Leeds city centre.

Manor Mills is part of Holbeck Urban Village, nestled alongside landmark office developments such as Bridgewater Place, The Round Foundry and City Walk.

Designed by Brewster Bye Architects, with interior design by the celebrated Yoo design company, Manor Mills offers a combination of modern living accommodation and retail space, with 280 apartments over nine floors that overlook an attractively landscaped courtyard.

Commenting on the buy-to-let boom in Leeds, Emerging Real Estate Chairman, Tim Morgan said: Leeds has always been a vibrant and bustling city, but just like many other major UK cities, property development has been stifled over the last five years. However, the rental market remained strong throughout the recession and now the demand for city centre rental property in Leeds is at an all time high thanks to substantial recent investment.

Investment in the city continues to increase as more and more businesses choose to set up in Leeds, or move from other UK locations.

This is underlined by Yorkshire airline and package holiday giant Jet2s announcement of their expansion into the neighbouring Mint Block Building.

The group is moving its customer contact centre, finance, IT and human resource operations from Leeds Bradford Airport to the new city-centre office, which will create 200 new jobs and eventually be home to nearly 700 people.

Leeds City Region Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) states that Leeds currently has an economy bigger than eight EU countries, and that with 1.3 million workers 95% of whom both live and work in the City Region has the largest and fastest growing workforce of any UK city region.

The recent opening of the 350 Trinity Shopping Centre has created many jobs and boosted an already thriving nightlife and shopping scene in Leeds.

With 100 shops, restaurants and bars in stunning surroundings under a landmark curving glass roofit will continue to attract new visitors to Leeds wholl pump more money into the local economy.

Figures from Leeds City Council revealed the new shopping centre led to record-breaking footfall in the citys shopping district - reaching 900,000 over the long Easter weekend.

Coun Richard Lewis, executive member for development and the economy, said: It is fantastic to see so many people taking advantage of the excellent retail offer that we have here in Leeds. The opening of Trinity Leeds is driving increased footfall across the whole city centre, and not just the shopping centre itself.

Despite already hosting a number of music festivals and being home to two theatres, Leeds will soon be able to boast an ultra-modern arena that can attract the worlds biggest artists and performers.

The Leeds Arena is due to open in September and is estimated to bring in an additional one million visitors to the city. With a fan shape design which guarantees every seat in the house perfect sight-lines of the centre stage it has been dubbed a 'super theatre' and looks set to be one of the best concert venues on the continent.

The prime location of Manor Mills means occupants are just a short walk from all the amenities of Leeds city centre and have easy access to Leeds Train Station and the M1 and M62 motorways, not to mention Leeds Bradford Airport which provides a springboard to all major European cities as well as New York; making it a haven for professionals young and old.

Tim Morgan finished by saying: Manor Mills forms part of Leeds growing and modern infrastructure and represents a unique opportunity to own a slice of one of the fast growing cities in Europe.
