Follow on Google News | East African oil & gas decision makers to meet international investors in LondonThe East Africa Oil & Gas Summit returns to London on 8-10 October 2013 and will be attended by East African decision makers seeking international investors to drive projects in their countries forward.

In 2012, over 200 international investors met in London at the first East Africa Oil & Gas Summit with Ministry officials from Ethiopia, Kenya and Mozambique to name a few to secure partnerships and pave the way for long term strategic collaborations. The East Africa Oil & Gas Summit returns to London on 8-10 October 2013 and will be attended by East African decision makers seeking international investors to drive projects in their countries forward. Sinknes Ejigu, Minister of Mines, Ethiopia •Sumayya Hassan-Athmani, Managing Director, National Oil Company of Kenya •Dr Tavares Martinho, Exploration Director, ENH Republic of Mozambique •Dr Abdullahi Haider, Petroleum & Minerals Senior Adviser, Office of the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia •Stanslaus Tombe Bönda, General Manager – E&P Division, Nilepet, South Sudan •Dr Ketsela Tadessa, Head of Petroleum Licensing, Ministry of Mines, Ethiopia Ministers and government representatives will deliver updates on the licensing rounds across the region, including: Mozambique and Kenya’s new auction based licensing rounds, Tanzania and South Sudan’s plans for the next phase of exploration, further investment opportunities for oil exploration in Uganda & Ethiopia, and the unexplored offshore opportunities in Somalia. The Summit is endorsed by the Ministry of Mineral Resources for Mozambique, Ministry of Mines for Ethiopia, Kenyan National Oil Corporation, ENH, Petromoc, South Sudanese Nile Petroleum Corporation and the Ministry of National Resources, Federal Republic of Somalia.
