Inspiring, influential, educational, and fun can all be used to describe the brilliantly enlightened children’s’ book series that is Briana’s Neighborhood! Briana’s Neighborhood is a collection of themed stories written from the perspective and imagination of an inquisitive eight year old little girl growing up and facing the obstacles of life in Brooklyn, NY.  Serving as a voice and ambassador for change for children and cultures all around the world, Briana’s character allows for children to see themselves in books while learning, understanding, and embracing experiences that may be similar or different from their own. The mission of each story presented in this fun collection of narratives is to stimulate and increase the curiosity, creativity, and confidence of a child through words and self-discovery. Through reading, communication, writing, workshops, games, and activities, Briana serves as a teaching mechanism in enriching the minds of our youth on societal issues faced worldwide by all ages, genders, and cultures.  

Briana’s Neighborhood is much more than the actual books themselves, it is a movement to unite children across the globe, empowering and daring them to Dream Big no matter the circumstance.
