By: JJMCMC SILVER SPRING, MD - The Montgomery County Maryland Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., is accepting applications for its Third Biennial Cotillion-Beautillion. This year's theme is “Golden LEGACY: Celebrating Leadership, Excellence, Grace, Achievement, Chivalry and Youth.” The Cotillion~Beautillion program is designed to celebrate the achievements of well-rounded young ladies and gentlemen and prepare them for post-secondary education. Participants will cultivate social etiquette skills, perform community service and participate in educational and social enrichment workshops and retreats on topics ranging from leadership development to team building. Participants will also raise money for scholarships and a local charitable organization through the sale of ads, sponsorships, and tickets. The event will culminate with the Golden Legacy Ball in the Spring of 2014, a once in a lifetime family evening when the debutantes and beaus are proudly presented to society. A highlight of the evening will be the presentation of Mr. and Miss Golden Legacy, the court and awards. The program will be limited to 24 teens and is open to rising 11th and 12th graders who reside and/or attend school (public, private or home-schooled) Additional information and an application are available online at http://www.jackandjill- ABOUT JACK AND JILL OF AMERICA, INC.
