DONCASTER, U.K. - June 3, 2013 - PRLog -- Yorkshire based garden designer Jamie Dunstan (http://www.jamiedunstan.co.uk/) has claimed RHS Chelsea's centenary show a 'complete success' after his show garden 'As Nature Intended' was awarded a prestigious Silver-Gilt award.

Jamie's garden, which narrowly missed out on receiving the coveted Gold award, featured a host of natural materials and their contemporary uses were hailed by gardening expert Andy Sturgeon (http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01sx9k0/RHS_Chelsea_Flower_Show_2013_Episode_9/) as 'the most radical on Main Avenue' when he was speaking of the garden designers not being afraid to 'push the boundaries'.

"Chelsea has once again been an amazing experience not only in terms of winning a Silver-Gilt award and finally bringing the garden to life, but also chatting with so many other gardening enthusiasts be them professionals or novices," said Jamie. "The spirit and camaraderie has been exceptional and I have been delighted to welcome a host of celebrity visitors to the garden too."

Visitors on press day included Michael Vaughan, Jerry Hall, Helen Fielding, Alan Titchmarsh and throughout the week other members of the BBC team have filmed including Nicky Chapman, Carol Klein and also The One Show.

The garden was created by Jamie for sponsors Stockton Drilling and was also supported by Wold Top Brewery who commissioned a special ale for the occasion in recognition of the barley used in the garden which is essential to the brewing process of ale. Other garden partners included yew and willow sculpture's from Emma Stothard and green slate from Burlington Stone.

"I am so pleased to have this year's garden recognised by the judges in a competition where the calibre of creativity and horticultural excellence is at such a high level," said Jamie. "To achieve any medal success at RHS Chelsea is a great experience and to achieve a Silver-Gilt with our first design in the show garden category is a true honour."
