Maturing skin doesn’t have to leave you feeling or looking old. After all, none of us are immune, and despite our most valiant efforts, we still haven’t found a way to reverse the aging process. And after years of trying, buying and applying, most women get into a rut, getting comfortable with our make-up  routine – our look, our colours, our application techniques.  Let’s face it, you can’t wear the same makeup in your 50’s that you did when you’re 15 ….i.e. Ladies, need to put down the powder!

Why?
In your 20’s you have natural radiance in your skin, and as you age that diminishes. The reality is that we all naturally lose collagen and elasticity in our skin.  What worked in our twenties can make us look dated, cakey and unflattering. Luckily there are products that will help to enhance your natural glow, and boost your radiance.  

5 Easy Fixes

1. Retinol A:
Using a cream with a high concentration of Retinol A at night which encourages collagen production and cell turnover (don’t forget to load on the sunscreen in the morning to prevent burns). There are plenty of creams with Retinol in them, but if you want real results, go to your dermatologist and get prescription grade Retinol.

2. Prime Time:
Using primers (face, eyes & lip) on the skin to smooth out the appearance of fine lines and pores and hold your makeup in place all day.
