They will explore drawing, cartoons, fashion and so much more. For those who love to explore the sciences, we offer weeks of Science and Technology fun including Lego Mania, Robotics, Engineering and Chess. We also offer exercise including Get Fit, non-competitive sports, cooking, fencing, and the popular Rock Band, which is back for children of all ages.” Shatz adds MCAW has added tween and teen workshops in the afternoons and evenings at The Hive. “We felt it important to provide our community’s teenagers with a place to gather, share talents and enjoy learning or improving their unique skills in the arts,” explains Shatz. Shatz further points out that the Mendham at Brookside camp will also include swimming and field trips. In addition to its successful Summer Camps, MCAW this summer, in conjunction with Chester Borough and Chester Recreation, is proud to support the Second Annual Chester Family Film Festival (CFFF) with Chester resident and comedian Jim Breuer, who created the event last year. “Jim is once again putting together an exciting, free family event at the Gazebo on Main Street in Chester on August 31, 2013,” explains Shatz. “We are inviting all residents to join the fun and submit those hilarious family friendly videos which will be judged and awards given out to the funniest and most creative.” For information on the CFFF, please visit www.mcartsworkshop.com or www.chestertowship.org.
