A New Charleston, SC Business is Breaking the Mold When it Comes to Restoration and Real Estate

The Luxury Simplified Group is a one-of-a-kind company that puts real estate, marketing, design, architecture, restoration and hospitality all under one roof.

CHARLESTON, S.C. - May 30, 2013 - PRLog -- British Ex-pat Chris Leigh-Jones and his wife Sebrina fell in love with the historic properties of Charleston, so much so, that they created a totally unique business inspired by them. Teaming up with architect John Paul Huguley, original founder of the American School of the Building Arts, as well as prominent local real estate agents, Chris and Sebrina created the Luxury Simplified Group, a one-of-a-kind company that puts real estate, marketing, design, architecture, restoration and hospitality all under one roof.

“We are thrilled to have created such a cutting-edge company,” says co-owner Sebrina Leigh- Jones. “We are offering distinctive services most home buyers have to go to four or five different companies to get. Now they only need to make one stop, at the Luxury Simplified Group, to get everything they need to buy and restore a beautiful home.”
Luxury Simplified Group, along with its partners, including the real estate arm, Luxury Land & Homes as well as architects and artisans at Building Art, LLC have acquired for renovation some 30 properties in the last year and completed around 12 in Charleston and 3 more in Europe. Some as well known as The Major Peter Bocquet's House, a big tangerine pre-revolutionary edifice at 95 Broad Street which once belonged to Peter Bocquet, a Major in the Revolutionary forces and later,  State Treasurer and Commissioner of  Sequestrated Estates.  “Preservation is what it’s really all about when it comes to restoring these wonderful old buildings,” says architect and Building Art owner, John Paul Huguley. “The graduate artisans’ skills in beautiful building art are displayed in great historic homes next to other antique pieces that have been valued, passed down or saved because they were well made.”

The business part of Luxury Simplified has never been done before; it’s a one-stop-shop for buying, renovating and renting Charleston real estate. The heart of the company is all about restoring gorgeous properties to their original glory using old world techniques known to only a few artisans; many of whom are graduates of the American College of the Building Arts located in the old jail, in downtown Charleston. The graduates utilize practices first employed by builders and architects hundreds of years ago. “No doubt about it, we are breaking the mold” says LSG owner Chris Leigh-Jones, “ if someone wants a beautiful Charleston property, he or she can look to us to help them find and buy their dream home, renovate or restore it using the best architects and builders in town. We are unmoved by termites or old hurricane damage, it can all be fixed to a higher standard than when new. Then we can manage the interior design, and finally, if so needed, we can help the owner rent out the home and also offer concierge services to the owner or vacation renter.”

While they call Charleston home, the Luxury Simplified Group is not just a state-side entity, they are taking their mission of renewal overseas. In fact, the company has recently been hired by a Trust in Chris Leigh-Jones’ home town in Wales, England to help restore the large stone built vicarage and its charitable medieval era alms houses. The American College of the Building Arts graduates will also help with this restoration, young Americans taking their skills to Europe.

Luxury Simplified is headquartered at 95 Broad Street, just one of their most recent restoration projects. The public is welcome to drop in and take a look this amazing property. For an interview or more information please contact Susan Sellers at susan@flaireventsandmarketing.com or 843-343-2088.
