Access2 unlocks new capability with Dynamics NAV

SHEFFIELD, U.K. - May 30, 2013 - PRLog -- The new solution, which has been rolled out across the business to cover sales, purchasing, stock control, warehousing, assembly and financial management, is helping Access2 to streamline manual and time consuming processes. It is also automating stock control processes and consequently driving significant efficiency improvements.
Access2 provides access control, security systems and doors to a wide range of organisations across the UK and worldwide. The company took the decision to upgrade its system after the end-of-life of its current Sage 100 system was announced. “It was the perfect opportunity to make the move,” says Brian Nesbitt, Finance Director at Access2. “A key drawback of the current system was that we were unable to electronically track our stock control and due to the complex nature of the products we manufacture, this was causing serious inefficiencies, particularly in our stock levels.”

Having considered upgrading to Sage 200, Access2 chose to move to Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Azzure IT, not only because the new solution would complement its current Dynamics CRM system, but because of Azzure’s knowledge and professionalism. “They invested a lot of time in understanding our business and the different needs of the varying departments. And they have successfully aligned the software to our specific requirements – it’s fantastic!”

Already a UK market leader, Access2 is eager to keep expanding. “It is important we have the right IT infrastructure in place that is capable of meeting the needs of our business today and as we continue to grow,” explains Nesbitt. “Based on our experience of working with Azzure, I’m confident we now have the right solution for our business.”
