Intercare Insurance Solutions Hosts 2nd Annual Corporate Wellness Symposium

The full-day event, which educates human resources executives, business leaders and corporate wellness professionals on employee wellness programs, corporate culture, and health and performance strategies, takes place at the Carlsbad Sheraton on Tuesday, June 18th.

         Topics include Designing Wellness Programs to Fit Company’ Cultures, Beyond Health Assessments - What Drives People to Change, The Key Elements to a Sustainable and Successful Wellness Program, and How to Integrate Health Care Reform Requirements into an Employee Benefits and Wellness Strategy.      

The event will kick off with motivational speakers Azim Khamisa and Ples Felix, of the Tariq Khamisa Foundation in San Diego. Khamisa and Felix will speak about healing relationships through forgiveness. Khamisa’s 20-year old son was killed by Felix’s 14-year-old grandson while delivering pizza in San Diego years ago. They regularly speak together about their experiences healing from this tragedy.

Session highlights include an engaging presentation by noted benefits industry speaker, Nate Randall, Manager of Global Benefits & Employee Experience at Tesla Motors. Randall will discuss Tesla’s unique corporate culture and how their benefits and wellness programs align with their forward-thinking and innovative company.
