Spa Boutique increases sales by 8% using the bubblebox:convert cart recovery application

Spa Boutique have been working with bubblebox:media for the past 12 months and have already experienced a doubling of revenues achieved from their email marketing efforts. Through the Continuous Improvement Program, it was identified that not all online shoppers whom abandoned products in their carts were being re-marketed to. The ‘plug-in’ tool that came with their eCommerce platform was only able to capture those customers whom logged in to their account when adding products to their shopping bag. Using bubblebox:convert, Spa Boutique are now also able to identify shoppers whom check-out as a guest. As a result, bubblebox:convert trigger 4 times more cart abandonment emails than the previous ‘plug-in’ tool they used. It has already made a significant contribution to revenues. With a recovery rate of 5.5%, the sales uplift of the triggered emails to cart abandoners accounted for an 8% uplift in sales revenues.

They have subsequently helped double the revenues we gain from our email marketing efforts in a very short time-frame. Their email technology and consultancy services have been outstanding. Nancy continued: “Our previous solution only targeted account holders whom had logged in. It did not capture ‘guest’ browsers. In addition, the existing text based emails did not contain specific merge data such as product image, description, quantity and price, thus it had no emotional hook or specific relevance. Moreover, as emails were sent 24 hours later and did not suppress customers whom had purchased in the interim, the old tool hindered the customer experience. These, along with other reasons, resulted in us implementing bubblebox:convert. Immediately we saw a sales uplift in the range of 8% and a 30% increase in average basket recovery versus average basket abandoned. The results speak for themselves”.
