Molex Perma-Seal™ waterproof adhesive ring terminals, butt connectors and quick disconnects completely seal-out moisture, gasoline and corrosive fluids. They are lined with an inner wall of hot-melt adhesive and feature NiAc insulation material. Perma-Seal™ shrinks up to 40% faster than standard nylon or polyolefin products, improving installation efficiency and reducing labor costs. Perma-Seal™ terminals and connectors also feature excellent insulation clarity making it easy to inspect the wire conductor during the crimping process.

With its ability to shrink to less than half its original diameter, Perma-Seal™ terminals accommodate a large variation of thick and thin wire insulation. As the sleeve of a Perma-Seal™ terminal is heated, adhesive melts and flows and fills any existing voids to create a seal that withstands the toughest environments and tests, such as MIL-T-7928.
