DURHAM, N.C. - May 29, 2013 - PRLog -- Many of these of domestic violence survivors goes on to develop symptoms of post traumatic stress disorder if they don’t get treatment.  Unfortunately, many of these survivors are trapped in a home that does not allow formal treatment for the violence.  Survival of domestic violence alone can cause unnecessary complications to the healing process in many people.  Every survivor deserves and needs a support system.

While formal treatment is recommended, online counseling, and having other survivors to talk to aids the healing process and reduces the effects of post traumatic stress disorder.  The purpose of this new website is to provide a needed support system for these survivors. By providing a safe and anonymous place for domestic violence survivors to discuss violence and rape issues, many will find comfort and maybe even healing.

Gabriel’s Compassion (www.gabrielscompassion.org) is pleased to announce a new website that is designed as a safe haven for these survivors of child abuse, rape and any other domestic violence.  All survivors that are wanting to heal from their own abuse issues are welcome to come and share your stories of survival.

The founder of the website is the author of  “Gabriel’s Tears” (Nedra Kiper) .  She will be available to help anyone that needs help.  Nedra herself is an experienced survivor of child abuse and rape.  Over the years she has completely healed her post traumatic stress disorder symptoms and is now wanting to share her secrets of healing with other survivors.

So come join us at http://www.gabrielscompassion.org/ and let your own healing process take the leap into complete healing.
