KidsPhysio2U brings yet another innovative cerebral palsy physiotherapy method to the UK

Their latest import from the US is the Therasuit method, a unique, safe and painless cerebral palsy physiotherapy technique designed specifically for the needs of the CP population.

KidsPhysio2U founder, Chris Smith, recently completed training on the use of the Therasuit method, allowing him to bring this powerful, yet simple, design to his patients in Essex and throughout England.

The Therasuit is designed to work with a “spider” cage, or Universal Exercise Unit, which KidsPhysio2U pioneered in England not long ago. The Therasuit allows the therapist to work closely with a cerebral palsy client, without fear a falling or losing control. Because the suit is designed to allow the therapist to support as much body weight as they need and free limbs. The Therasuit allows for the proper flow of information through the body. It allows a cerebral palsied patient to repeat a single action until the body has learned it and is able to do it on its own.

The Therasuit allows the therapist to completely adjust tension according to the needs and therapeutic goals of the cerebral palsy physiotherapy.
