Bath’s Got Talent. Let’s Keep it.

BATH, U.K. - May 28, 2013 - PRLog -- Whilst the beauty and culture of Bath attracts some of the UK’s very brightest minds to study in its excellent universities, these students often move on elsewhere in the quest for the best possible start to their fledgling careers. Many of the UK’s graduate career programmes are with large organisations located in and around London, with relatively few opportunities available for graduate development in Bath itself. Fast growing, Bath based business consultancy, Nine Feet Tall is changing that.

Nine Feet Tall last year launched a new graduate development programme offering Bath University graduates the opportunity to remain in the city once their degree course has finished. This new programme, NineStart, has been developed following consultation with the Bath University Careers Service and will provide a solid foundation to a career as a Business Consultant.

Huw Jones, the Partner who oversees this graduate recruitment for Nine Feet Tall, explains “For graduates, an awful lot depends on that all-important first position. It sets the scene for everything that follows. They often seek graduate development opportunities with the UK’s largest firms which has previously meant leaving our city”

Through Nine Start in 2013 and 2013 some eight graduates have already joined Nine Feet Tall, the majority from the University of Bath and Bath Spa University. Nine Feet Tall are now recruiting a graduate new business development executive and attending the University of Bath Careers Fair on 5 June to market this new role. As a growing business working across all sectors this role offers an ambitious graduate the chance to make a real difference and contribute to business growth through fostering and developing new opportunities from initial contact through to contracting work. The role will be Bath based with initial training taking place in London. The position is open to graduates from all disciplines with a commercial mindset and ability to develop new relationships and demonstrating perseverance.
