The 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport Earns “Top Safety Pick+” Award

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (http://www.iihs.org/ratings/ratingsbyseries.aspx?id=716), a non-profit vehicle safety research organization, rates vehicles on how they perform on a “good” to “poor” scale. To qualify for a “Top Safety Pick+” award, a vehicle must earn “good” ratings for occupant protection in four out of the five tests, and no less than an “acceptable” rating in the fifth test.
