America's One Boy USO to spend weekend honoring Wounded Warriors and Veterans

QUINCY, Ill. - May 28, 2013 - PRLog -- A Georgia 4th grader, Cody Jackson (AKA One Boy USO) will be travelling to Quincy, IL for a weekend of honoring veterans and wounded warriors for the 3rd Annual Fishing for Freedom event, June 1st and 2nd, 2013.  This will be Cody's second year attending this amazing event.

Cody will be also be at two Hy-Vee locations for book signings and merchandise sales to earn funds for care packages he sends to deployed troops.  He will be at the Harrison location from 9am to 10:30am and the Broadway location 12pm to 1:30pm on June 1st, 2013.

Cody has been supporting troops from the age of four, ever since he learned of the events of 9/11.  Cody has personally shook over 14,500 troops' hands, sent over 4000 pounds of packages since December 2011, supports troops through his Facebook page of over 24,000 fans and travels the country attending charity events and speaking at schools, veterans groups and other organizations.  Cody wrote two children's books to help educate other children about patriotism and to help bring future support for America's troops.  He has also been awarded the Gold Presidential Volunteer Service Award for his over 1700 hours of community service served.
