Golden Safety Record Earns RoSPA President’s Award For Fulcrum

SHEFFIELD, U.K. - May 28, 2013 - PRLog -- Fulcrum, the only independent utility connections business covering the whole of Britain, has been presented with one of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents’ (RoSPA) highest safety awards.

The RoSPA President’s Award follows 10 consecutive years of Fulcrum achieving a RoSPA Gold award for occupational health and safety and was presented at a special ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel during Safety and Health Expo 2013, Europe’s leading annual health and safety exhibition.

Collecting the award, Fulcrum Health, Safety & Environmental Support Manager Yohan De Silva commented: “We are very pleased that our commitment to safety has been formally recognised in this way by Britain’s leading safety charity.

“Our track record and approach to maintaining and promoting the highest standards on every site we work on is well-recognised and immensely valued by clients, contractors and staff.”

Dating back 57 years, the RoSPA Awards scheme is the largest and longest-running programme of its kind in the UK. It recognises commitment to accident and ill health prevention.

The scheme not only looks at accident records, but also entrants’ overarching health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
