VISTA, Calif. - May 27, 2013 - PRLog -- Vista Motorcycle's 2nd Annual "Freedom to Ride" 2013 Motorcycle Event is set for July 4, 2013, announces a Vista Motorcycle spokesperson. It is a group ride to the local VA Hospitals, where local heroes will be honored by members of the American Legion 365 and other freedom loving individuals. Immediately following the ride, festivities will continue with more food, fun, and live entertainment at the American Legion Post 365 headquarters in Vista, CA.

According to the spokesperson, motorcycle riders and other celebration attendees will meet at Vista Motorcycle repair shop located at 1155 S. Santa Fe Ave. Unit G, Vista, CA. 92083. (Go up narrow driveway, top of hill to the right.) Vista Motorcycle is sponsoring a July 4th Celebration with a free continental breakfast. Riders will stage there for the group ride that leaves at 10 am and goes to about 2 pm.

With the tradition set to kick off the morning of July 4th, the spokesperson says the response is already overwhelming, as everyone is responding with an R.S.V.P of their attendance. "Last year we had 55 riders attend the event, and this year our goal is to have over 100 riders who will visit two VA hospitals," notes the spokesperson.

This ride will be open to military and non-military personnel. "The ride will also be available for those who wish to follow in their cars, trucks or vans," says the spokesperson.

The event will be in honor of all the Vets who served their country and are unable to be 'out and about' to enjoy the national holiday. Therefore, the motorcycle riders from the local Vista American Legion post and other riding clubs will be coming together to dedicate their morning to riding down to the Veterans Hospital in La Jolla, CA and on Camp Pendleton.

At 2 pm through to 5 pm, the spokesperson says the riders will be returning to the American Legion Post 365 in Vista at 1234 S. Santa Fe Ave. (across the street from Vista Motorcycle) where they will celebrate "Freedom Day" with food, fun, and live entertainment. "This ride and celebration event will be wrapped up in time for folks to enjoy the local fireworks display that will bring the evening to a close," says the spokesperson.
