JOY! A fundraiser show of art by Anna Maria Sparks - Origo Books Gallery

TORONTO - May 27, 2013 - PRLog -- Opening Wednesday June 5, from 5 to 9 pm.

ANNA MARIA SPARKS presents JOY!, a fundraiser show of art with internationally acclaimed Canadian artist SHARON BARR and featuring Kenyan artist DAVID ADERINTO.

Aimed to provide funds for an African community school, JOY! resumes the humanitarian goals set by ANNA MARIA SPARKS in 2011 with the Water for my Daughter fundraiser, which provided a clean freshwater well to cover the daring needs of hundreds of underprivileged people in a Zambian village.

Hailing from Toronto, Mexican-Canadian artist and author of Breakfast Without Tiffany, ANNA MARIA SPARKS is also donating all her earnings from the book sales.

The opening night will feature a live music performance by the talented JEREMIAH SPARKS and friends. Food and refreshments will also be provided.

JOY! fundraiser art show will continue until Friday June 28, 2013.

Located at the store's mezzanine, the Origo Books Gallery is open Monday to Friday, from 11:30am to 5:30pm.
