Scoring the Food Safety Asia Commendation Award

MALE, Maldives - May 27, 2013 - PRLog -- Kuramathi seems to be on a winning streak this year, and the reason why we say this is after our newest feat to our belt of achievements - the fulfillment of the Food Safety Commendation Award, 2012. The excellence of this award goes to the consistent and persistent endeavours of our skilled Food & Beverage production and service teams who are committed to maintain high standards in Food Hygiene, which has been reflected through high audit scores.

The hygiene audit was first conducted by Food Safety Asia in January 2011, and it took us 2 years of dedication and perseverance to achieve this exemplary accomplishment. For 2012, we were one of the 24 resorts in the Maldives to have received this award, where Kuramathi (http://www.kuramathi.com/) received an outstanding score of 95.28% in overall!

Congratulations to the Kuramathi team, for nailing this inspiring achievement and for striving towards success, with the continuous support of General Manager, Abdul Latheef and Director, Ali Noordeen whose guidance has always lead to shining moments like these. This, of course, would be a benchmark, to score similar goals in the near future.

About the award

The FSA Commendation Award given by Food Safety Asia is bestowed to those partners who have shown an exceptional standard both in Food Hygiene and HACCP and highlight those teams that really go for the extra mile. In order to be nominated for an award existing partners must have achieved an overall audit score consistently over 80 - 85% and have an established HACCP system and have proven to our audit team that they operate to an extremely high standard.
