Gallagher Holds Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for North American Headquarters

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - May 24, 2013 - PRLog -- Friends, family, supporters and city and county officials gathered at Gallagher North America’s new headquarters located at Horizons Parkway and Northwest 41st Street in Riverside, Missouri’s new Horizons Industrial Park, to take part in a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the company on Friday, May 10, 2013.

“Welcoming Gallagher into our city is a significant day for Riverside,” said Mayor Kathy Rose during her speech. “This is exactly the type of company the city envisioned as an occupant when we selected NorthPoint Development as our master developer.”  

“It’s a unique animal — it’s a pretty high-end office,” said Brent Miles, Vice President of Economic Development for NorthPoint Development who also spoke at the event.  

The new location of 56,000 square feet houses both offices and a distribution warehouse.  The space provides more room for expansion and more warehouse space for storage of its product lines. Gallagher North America employs 77 staff, 33 of which are based at the new site.

One of the highlights of the event was Sir William Gallagher’s speech in which he chronicled Gallagher’s long and successful journey of 75 years.  Sir William and Lady Judi Gallagher together cut the ribbon, officially opening the doors of this new facility.  Lady Judi Gallagher was involved in a significant amount of planning for the facility and a plaque honoring both Sir William and Lady Judi’s support now hangs near the main entrance.
