By: Ace Hardware Local chefs will face off in grilling competitions at Ace Hardware stores across Colorado on June 8 from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. for a chance to win a $200 gift card to Ace Hardware. In addition to the grilling competitions, select Ace Hardware stores throughout Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico will offer free food, grilling demonstrations and discounts, appearances by Denver Bronco football legends, and kid’s activities including bouncy castles, carnival games and face painting. Check www.grillyouraceoff.com for store specific activities. “Grill Your Ace Off started five years ago at one Denver Ace Hardware store as a way to have some fun while raising money for a great cause,” said Brett Stephenson, owner of Highlands Ranch Ace Hardware, one of the locations hosting a competition this year. “This year more than 40 stores across three states are participating, so regardless of where you live there’s a good chance there’s an event happening in your neighborhood.” Over the past 10 years, local Ace Hardware stores have donated more than $1 million to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
