LOS ANGELES - May 23, 2013 - PRLog -- S & D Entertainment Group, LLC is proud to announce the signing one of the industry’s hottest hip hop producers, JELLY ROLL (On The Boulevard, Whatcha Gonna Do, Stoplight, What I Want and Get To Know Ya. Additionally, he is most recognized for his various chart-topping work with legendary and award winning artists from East to West, such as Dr. Dre, (Let Me Ride and Keep Their Heads Ringin' ) The Game (How We Do and Put You On Game) Xzibit, (X and My Name) Busta Rhymes (Woo-Hah! Got You All in Check, Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See and Pass The Courvoisier Pt. 2) and Method Man (I'll Be There for You/You're All I Need to Get By) among numerous others.

He was first established by Snoop Dogg (Nuthin' But a G Thang, Gin and Juice, The Next Episode and Stoplight) and Tha Eastsidaz (Tha Eastsida"). JELLY ROLL was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma; however, he calls Los Angeles, CA his home. Music has always been a part of him since he was young; which is not surprising since he came from a line of legendary musicians, including the one and only Gap Band, who are responsible for such hits as, You Dropped a Bomb on Me, Burn Rubber On Me (Why You Wanna Hurt Me, Yearning For Your Love and Early in the Morning among many others.

JELLY ROLL’s diverse musical style includes an infusion of ghetto gospel, strings, winds, funky guitar riffs and off-the-hook percussion. His aesthetic is a progression from the early-'90s G-funk sound pioneered by Dr. Dre, characterized by fat synth bass lines and soulful keys. Furthermore, his productions also tend to make an excellent use of crooning Gs on the choruses to accentuate the soul element.
