GERARD "JERRY" RYAN BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Ryan brings together a unique blend of technical and managerial knowledge with 40 years of Safety & Health experience. A 26 year OSHA veteran, he held numerous positions within the agency including VPP Program Manager, Area Director, Assistant Regional Administrator and Acting Deputy Regional Administrator. He was a recipient of numerous awards for his innovative VPP partnership and safety & health culture work to include the prestigious Hammer Award from Vice President Al Gore in addition to receiving the U.S. Department of Labor’s Distinguished Career Service Award and 5 Secretary of Labor’s Exceptional Achievement and Impact Awards.

Dr. Ryan holds a B.S. degree in Environmental Health, a M.S. degree in Occupational Health, and a Ph.D. in Industrial Hygiene.
