Cheekie Charlie was born from a mother’s quest to design a product that would lessen wardrobe changes, laundry and ultimately, the chaos of life with a baby. Carla Palmer moved to New York City from Dallas to pursue design. A graduate from the Fashion Institute of Technology, she started working in branding in a prominent NYC design agency. As a designer turned stay-at-home mom, Carla wanted to combine her two loves: her daughter Charlie and design. Having a background in branding and a supportive and creative husband helped give her the confidence and motivation to start Cheekie Charlie.
