logistics provider in Dallas, Texas, has opened an office in Miami, Florida to better facilitate its growing customer base shipping between Central and South America and North America. Located both near the international airport and the ports of Miami, this new facility allows PLG greater flexibility to serve its clients by consolidating import and export shipments and reducing transportation costs and environmental impact. “I’m excited about our role in servicing the vast and growing market in Central and South America,” Chris Thomas, President of PLG said. “It opens up many opportunities for us to expand our international footprint, as well as provide cost effective solutions for our domestic clients who ship in and out of that region.” Carlos Gonzalez-Compte has been named Regional Manager of the Southeast US region for PLG and will manage the operations for the Miami facility.
