Shropshire Solicitors put themselves to the test to raise cash in charity challenge

TELFORD, U.K. - May 23, 2013 - PRLog -- Telford, Shropshire, UK: Solicitors from Martin Kaye LLP in Telford, Shropshire, are helping to raise money for Hope House Children’s Hospice. They have signed up to the Hospice’s 2013 Corporate Challenge, which gives local firms £50, and 90 days to increase it by as much as possible.

Putting themselves to the test, the team started by holding a Blockbuster-style quiz at The White Horse in Wrockwardine Wood. Clare Pitchford, who organised the quiz on Martin Kaye’s behalf, said: “So far we have received excellent support towards our challenge, and this is just the start. We have many other exciting fundraising events in the pipeline including a big breakfast and a cake sale, so we’re hoping to boost our total still further.

The Martin Kaye team want thank everyone for their generosity so far, and hope that people will continue to back their efforts to raise as much money as possible for this incredible cause. All of the money raised in the challenge will be used to deliver vital services for local terminally ill children and their families at Hope House, Oswestry.

It is entirely up to firms how they fundraise, with the Hospice saying that fundraising for the challenge can be as simple or as challenging as companies make it. They have said that companies can just organise a one-off event or activity, or at the other end of the scale they can continually fundraising throughout the whole 90 days of the campaign.
