CPS Screen Opener 511 gets GOTS approval

MILTON KEYNES, U.K. - May 22, 2013 - PRLog -- Screen Opener 511 (http://www.cps.eu/products/124/screen_opener_511), the latest hazard label-free on-press ink cleaner from CPS, has been approved for non-organic input by GOTS (http://www.global-standard.org/) (Global Organic Textile Standard).  The approval demonstrates that CPS understands and meets the high standards demanded by GOTS, and reflects the on-going efforts of CPS to provide the most efficient and environmentally-friendly products possible for the screen printing industry.

The launch of the approved CPS Screen Opener 511 provides screen printers with a greener and safer option for manual on-press cleaning of textile, industrial and graphics inks.  With fast evaporation and a >400C flash point, this EN12921-3:2005 compliant screen cleaner forms an important part of an environmentally-friendly production process.

CPS is continuing to work to meet the specific criteria set down by GOTS, which is enabling a more strategic approach to the development of green solutions for the printing industry.  This will be a great benefit to users of CPS products, as environmental compliance will provide screen printers with increased business opportunities, particularly when bidding for work from large corporations sensitive to green issues.
