Midas Hospitality Announces Michael Heater, General Manager – Candlewood Suites – Greenville, SC

ST. LOUIS - May 22, 2013 - PRLog -- Recently announcing the construction of a 97-room Candlewood Suites in Greenville, SC, Midas Hospitality hires Michael Heater as General Manager of the new all-suites, extended stay hotel.  Midas President – Robert Willard, states “We are extremely pleased to add a seasoned hospitality veteran, Michael Heater to the Midas Hospitality family and lead our new Candlewood Suites – Greenville, SC”.  Willard added, “Michael has lived and worked in the Greenville, SC hospitality market for over 20 years and is a leader in the Greenville, SC community.”

Michael’s hospitality journey began over 20 years ago as the Assistant General Manager of The Phoenix Inn – Greenville, SC and most recently the Assistant General Manager of the Embassy Suites Resort & Conference Center in Greenville, SC.  Michael attended Clemson University and Brevard College where he studied Financial Management.  He is very active in the Greenville Community and is a graduate of Leadership Greenville Class XXVII.  Michael has held Board positions with the Greenville Chamber Leadership Alumni, Youth Leadership, and Opportunity Greenville.  He currently serves on the Executive Committee for the South Carolina Restaurant & Lodging Association Greater Greenville Chapter.  

Breaking ground in September, 2012 the Candlewood Suites – Greenville is scheduled to open October 1, 2013.  The new Candlewood Suites is be part of the master planned community known as Verdae, centrally located to the I-85 and I-385 interstates at the corner of Woodruff Road and Green Heron Road, directly across the street from Magnolia Park Town Center and the new Cabela’s.
