Rahul Nawab, IQR Consulting talks to Casinos about CRM, Social Gaming and Analytics

Rahul believes that Asian gaming market is growing and will continue to grow. The challenge lies in its difference with the western gaming market. This he believes is the best approach to snatch business away from even the largest competitors.

Rahul, whose firm works with financial institutions, casinos and airlines, shared case studies from the casino and finance industry to illustrate the power of data analytics in driving profitability. These included examples from Foxwood, Revel and Turning Stone Casino.

“For casinos, efficient marketing, for example, means sending out the relevant marketing message to the patrons,” said Rahul. “In a casino environment data analytics delivers that kind of custom strategy by segmenting audiences based on several data-revealed factors e.g. game type, worth of the patron, visit frequency of the patron”

Rahul discussed about the future growth prospects of the social gaming in the Asian region. Rahul suggests that along with Casino games, online and social gaming will continue to dominate the gaming market in Asia. In light of this development it is crucial that casinos should look at social and online games as their competitors.  This make the patron programs even more important for the casinos. Doing this will help the casino is retaining the patrons.
