Qorus debuts Proposal Automation solution at world’s largest event for Proposal Managers

CAPE TOWN, South Africa - May 22, 2013 - PRLog -- Qorus Software, provider of document automation solutions for Microsoft Office and Microsoft SharePoint, will be exhibiting at APMP’s (Association of Proposal Management Professionals) Bid & Proposal Con 2013, the world’s largest educational event for proposal management, capture, business development and graphics professionals. The company will be demonstrating to attendees the latest version of their Proposal Automation and RFP Collaboration solution, Qorus Breeze Proposals, version 2.0.

The company’s flagship product, Qorus DocGeneration, enables organizations to access document automation functionality natively in SharePoint and Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Qorus Breeze Proposals adds sales process specific functionality to the Qorus DocGeneration framework, such as RFP collaboration features, a content library, an innovative content “shopping basket” for building pro-active proposals from approved, re-usable sales content, and a social widget that enables users to suggest good content for inclusion in the content library.

“Our participation in this year’s APMP Bid & Proposal Con is a result of the growing number of enquiries we have been receiving from bid managers and proposal managers in the US and Canada in search of a proposal automation solution that supports their company’s SharePoint strategy,” says Ray Meiring, CEO of Qorus Software. “Although SharePoint is not a requirement for end-users to make use of Qorus Breeze Proposals, our tight integration with SharePoint has been one of the main differentiators in the market for us.”

Available as an on-premises or hosted solution, the latest version includes support for PowerPoint, advanced reporting on content usage and user activity, a guided proposal creation feature and a “Lite” user subscription option for contributors to proposals.

“Our objectives with this latest release are to make proposal generation faster, easier and more affordable than ever before,” continues Meiring. “We’ve added a guided proposal creation feature which provides users with a list of suggested content to include based on the template they have chosen. We’ve also added support for PowerPoint, so users can quickly generate customized slide decks and include relevant data in dynamic tables, charts and graphs. And finally, we’ve added a ‘Lite’ user licensing option that discounts our normal user subscription fee in order to maintain costs down while increasing number of contributors participating in the proposal creation process.”
