vAppointments, an All-in-One Calendar, Communication and Time Management Application launches in Web

vAppointments enables users to schedule and manage appointments, tasks and other engagements.  Unlike the normal calendar app, vAppointments users can send sms, voicemail and email reminders and messages to their contacts anywhere in the world. The application enables users to add individual and group contacts to appointments; add notes and messages, set alert times and use GPS for location services. One unique feature of this versatile application is that it syncs between devices, meaning that a user can schedule an appointment on their iPhone and it will show up when they log in to their laptop or desktop with no need for double inputting.

For web users, the application comes with a dashboard with features depending on whether the user is an individual or a business. A company or not for profit organisation can add its employees to enable them to schedule and manage their departments’ appointments and communication needs.

Nelly Mhangami, the founder of Virtual Business Ventures Ltd developers of vAppointments stated that “ we realised  there was a need in the market for an all-in-one application which enables both individuals and organisations to manage their calendars, their time and to communicate with people all around the world” She also stated that “this is just phase one of the project as more innovative features are lined up for users as l believe in offering one complete suite of features in one application than having several disparate applications”.

The start up has been invited to apply for TechStars London and Seattle 2013 as well as being awarded the Essex Innovation Programme. Once the whole project is fully launched, Nelly Mhangami mentioned that hundreds of jobs will be created for graduates and the company has a vision to grow into a globally renowned software development and marketing company.
