COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - May 21, 2013 - PRLog -- Tech For Less, Inc. one of the world’s largest stocking vendors of new, open box and refurbished computers and electronics, is proud to announce that it was awarded the internationally recognized ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2007 and OHSAS 18001:2007 certifications for its quality, environmental and safety systems.

The ISO 9001:2008 is a quality management standard that is recognized by organizations worldwide. This certification means the organization has demonstrated its commitment to enhancing customer satisfaction through the application of the management system, with processes for continual improvement and the assurance of conformity to customer, statutory and regulatory requirements. The ISO 14001:2004 certification is the internationally recognized standard for the environmental management of businesses.  It prescribes controls for those activities that have an effect on the environment. These include the use of natural resources, handling and treatment of waste and energy consumption.  This certification fits with the company’s focus on the eco-conscious choice to reduce landfill deposits by reusing materials and refurbishing computers and electronics. The company also received the OHSAS 18001:2007 certification which aims to minimize or eliminate risk to employees and stakeholders that may be vulnerable to OHS risks within the company’s activities.
