Campgrounds in the north Georgia mountains drew the highest ratings with more than half of the top 10 campgrounds located north of Atlanta. Still, the top 10 list hits all corners of the state with a nod to Seminole State Park in far southwestern Georgia and Lake Russell on the eastern border of the state. "This list really showcases the best Georgia has to offer in terms of camping," according to Tripleblaze founder Jeff Barber. "These are all places with great scenery, a variety of activities on site, and solid amenities for campers. Out of the 126 Georgia campgrounds we're tracking, these are truly the best." Four of this year's top 10 campgrounds in Georgia are located in state parks and four are located in National Forest areas.
