An ‘Outstanding’ outdoor adventure in the heart of the woods

TUNBRIDGE WELLS, U.K. - May 20, 2013 - PRLog -- Woodlands Day Nursery, part of nationwide nursery group Asquith, is set in beautiful surroundings and has just had an incredible £150k+ refurbishment. The only nursery of its kind in the area, it comes as no surprise that Woodlands has received the ‘Outstanding’ rating!

The fantastic outdoor resources, including a nature observatory that overlooks the surrounding woods, a wobbly road cycle track, a water feature and a separate area of discovery for babies, have introduced an exciting new way of learning for children.

The Ofsted inspector commented: "All children benefit immensely from the newly designed outdoor area." The inspector also identified that children are independent, self-sufficient and confident to learn.

State-of-the-art resources continue throughout the nursery, with a touch-screen computer and an interactive whiteboard supporting numeracy and literacy learning in Pre-School. Specially-made lookout platforms inside the rooms enable children to view the stunning surroundings of the setting.
