Murco Refrigerant Leak Detectors Receive UL Approval

Murco’s gas leak detectors alert personnel of potentially hazardous conditions through a range of products which can detect almost any gas including every refrigerant gas such as Ammonia (NH3), Carbon Dioxide (C02/R744), R134a, R404a, R407a, R410a, R507a, R11, R12, R22, R600a, R290 and many more.

MGD Range - The Murco Gas Detector (MGD) the most cost effective system available.  The sensor is powered by a controller, select from 1,2,4 or 6 remote sensors with 1 or 2 levels alarm .  This system is easy to install and the controller provides visual, audible and 1/2 volt free relay alarms.  It is suitable for most refrigeration/ air conditioning and machinery rooms.   Multi sensor options allows for the detection of different gases.   This product comes with accurate long life semi-conductor sensors.  

MGS Range - The Murco Gas Sensor (MGS) is a fixed gas detector and sensor transmitter mainly targeted at industrial and commercial applications.  It is capable of detecting a wide range of different gases.  It suits customers who want to add to an existing system as the MGS can interface with any BMS or Scada system using its digital or analog outputs.  It is also now available with Modbus.   It offers continuous monitoring for all refrigerants, ammonia, halocarbons, combustible, toxic and VOC gases.  Fast response Infrared sensors, long life semi-conductor sensors and electrochemical sensors can all be supplied to meet almost any gas detection need.

IAM Range - Integrated Area Monitor IAM range models are targeted at commercial and domestic air conditioning applications such as hotels, offices, apartment blocks, leisure clubs, and restaurants, particularly where multi sensor systems are required.  An easy to use stand-alone system with sensor and monitor combined.  An optional control panel, the IAM-C allows for up to 16 sensors per panel to be added.  These panels can be pyramided for further system expansion.   2 volt-free relays connect to activate alarms/turn off valves.

ST-IAM Range - The ST-IAM Is a sensor transmitter which is ideal for multi-sensor applications requiring a high degree of monitoring and reporting.   It can detect the widest range of gases to suit most applications.   The sensors can be used on a stand-alone basis or be integrated into a Controls or Building Management Systems (BMS) using its linear analogue, RS485 port and digital (Relay) outputs.  Up to 65 ST-IAM sensors can be connected to an ST-MON panel which stores data and can be accessed locally or remotely.  This allows for the construction of large integrated gas detection and monitoring systems.   2 volt-free relays connect to activate alarms/turn off valves.  Easy plug in replacement sensors reduce yearly calibration and maintenance costs.

HGM Range by Bacharach – The Single and Multi Zone refrigerant monitors (up to 16 zones) providing a unique combination of high sensitivity, large dynamic measurement ranges and speed of response.  0-10,000 ppm measurement range detecting up to 38 different gases.
