Support Soldiers at the Army Birthday Ball in Long Beach, California on 7 June

Solders from the US Army, National Guard and Army Reserve will gather to celebrate the Armys 238th Birthday at elegant gala in Long Beach,CA. Community will have an opportunity to support a Soldier with a Night Out

LONG BEACH, Calif. - May 19, 2013 - PRLog -- Long Beach, CA - Give a Soldier a Night Out will celebrate the Army's 238th Birthday with a grand gala at the Westin Long Beach. Hundreds of local Soldiers from the National Guard, Army and US Army Reserve will honor the Army on Friday evening,7 June in Long Beach,California.
Many of these Soldiers have recently returned from the combat zones and are deserving of a night off, a glamorous evening in a grand setting.
Local citizens and companies will have an opportunity to host or sponsor a Soldier with a donation or contribution. See www.AUSAGLAC.org for more information and details on how to make a contribution to help Give a Soldier a Night Off.
Several Generals and other VIPS and celebrities will be on hand to salute the troops including Miss California Leah Cecil. Ms Cecil will start the program by singing the National Anthem. Music will be provided by the 40th Infantry Division Band, California Army National Guard from the Joint Forces Training Base in Los Alamitos.
The dinner and program will conclude with dancing.
