US Publisher Signs Cardiff Wales Author To A Very Nice Four Book Deal, Announces Titles Release Date

CARDIFF, Wales - May 20, 2013 - PRLog -- Pants On Fire Press has signed its first international author, United Kingdom writer Craig Jones, to a four book deal. First of the books to be published in the Fall of 2013 is Outbreak: The Zombie Apocalypse, a young adult horror set in the United Kingdom. Craig brings readers personal drama set around a Zombie epidemic as it sweeps across modern Great Britain causing the victims to attack and feed on their friends, family and neighbors. In a small village in South Wales, two brothers, protected because of privilege and wealth, are forced to offer help and assistance and to make choices that will change their lives forever.

The second Jones book to be published Fall 2013 is Vamp Town, a young adult romantic novel. Vamp Town, otherwise known as the Irish coastal town of Skerries, is the perfect place to live. No crime, no trouble and almost no reason to lock the door at night. The tranquility, however, comes at a cost. Every member of the community must hold onto a centuries old secret that if exposed would tear the heart out of the town.

The third young adult Jones book, Outbreak 2, is tentatively scheduled for a Spring 2014 release. In Outbreak 2, the sequel to Jones' Zombie tale, it is one month on from the end of Outbreak. From within the safety of the stadium Matt begins to see a change in the zombie threat. They are dying. Again. And a group of scientists have discovered a cure. The survivors within the stadium, led by the last of the military, are given a mission. Rescue the scientists and escape from Britain. Except the zombies aren't dying... They are waiting. And they are hungry!

In Zodiak, Jones' fourth young adult book acquired by Pants On Fire Press, it is 2025 and crime in Britain has been all but eradicated by the highly trained combat outfit ‘Zodiak’. However, when one of the team is overcome with fear while halting a bank raid, it looks like the future of Zodiak is in jeopardy. When all looks bleak, in steps media mogul William Walsh with the idea for a reality television show to replace the fallen hero with a member of the public.

Pants On Fire Press is extremely excited to add Jones to its growing list of authors. Craig Jones is from Wales, the home of great rugby, great singing and many great writers and artists. Craig lives in Cardiff with his wife Claire, baby son Shane and a rather insane ginger cat called Wookie. He works for Public Health Wales and is the Wales lead on alcohol harm reduction. As much as he loves this job, his dream is to be a full time writer.

Inspired by the late, great James Herbert, Stephen King and Bret Easton Ellis (Craig says Patrick Bateman is the best character ever created and it is even better that he was played by a Welshman in the movie) he has always been a huge horror fan. From Jason to Freddie, Ash to Rick Grimes, there is nothing scary that he won't watch, no one he won't try to scare with his stories.

Craig writes for young adults because he believes the more they read, the more creative they will become."I grew up with a book in one hand and a tennis racket in the other. I think writers have a responsibility to pen stories to inspire youngsters to read by knowing what kids want."
