Nicaragua hosts its fifth EuroFair

Nicaragua recently held the fifth edition of the EuroFair, with the objective of diversifying and developing trade relations between the country and the European Union.
 
MANAGUA, Nicaragua - May 17, 2013 - PRLog -- Nicaragua recently held the fifth edition of the EuroFair, with the objective of diversifying and developing trade relations between the country and the European Union, in the context of the Association Agreement between Central America and the EU, expected to enter into force in the next couple of months. The event, which took place on May 10th and 11th in Managua, Nicaragua, and whose theme was “Europe under one same roof”, had an excellent attendance of approximately 50 national and foreign exporting companies.

The event was organized by the Nicaraguan-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with the European Union (EU), in addition to the Chamber of Commerce from Spain, France, Italy, Denmark and the United Kingdom.

The companies present at the event expressed the importance of this annual event to expand their businesses and establish fruitful relationships with buyers or investors from mostly European descent. Additionally, through the forums and lectures offered, current issues on trade and investment in renewable energy sectors, agro industry, textile industry, and tourism were discussed.

During this occasion, Nicaragua’s economic stability and high personal safety levels were highlighted. In addition, Nicaraguan companies ready to export were invited to participate at conferences that specifically covered the details of the Association Agreement between the EU and Central America, of which Nicaragua was the first country that approved its validity through the senate.
