The official results came in over the weekend, announcing Shortsleeve as the new seat holder. The Board of Assessors is comprised of 5 chairs held by elected officials. Their key responsibility is to estimate fair market value of Weston properties.

She has held her professional real estate license for 26 years and works as a full-time realtor with Century 21 Shawmut Properties in Weston Center. Shortsleeve has worked very closely with both buyers and sellers alike among the community, which has allowed her to gain extensive experience on property valuation, market trends, assessment data and the real estate market in general.
